The Aqua Park is perfect for family trips, adventurous individuals

Locally known as chipmunk mountain, you can feed the chipmunks right along the rocky side of the shore next to Caleta del Espino. Just round the corner from   Puerto Castillo Marina! 

At the Atlanticó Shopping Centre, there are a variety of shops, restaurants, 10 Pin Bowling and a Cinema (Cine Yelmo) that sometimes shows movies in English. There's also a children's activity play centre in the Square outside.

Right on the beach at Castillo Caleta de Fuste, you can have a camel ride along Playa Del Castillo.

With one of the best restaurants on the Island located on the same street a few yards away, you don't have far to go to get to Fado Rock. Plenty other wonderful restaurants are also located on the same street like El Patio, O'Fado etc. The Great Wall Chinese restaurant is just round the corner too. 

Bars are right on your doorstep from Esmeralda. Directly across the road is the Lord Nelson for a bit of Karaoke 🎤 or just down the road is the Flower of Scotland for more singing and dancing. You can also grab a beer and sit in the sun at Little Havana. There is a huge choice, all within walking distance

Take a look inside the Calderón Hondo volcano and the crater as you walk around the rim. View the stunning panoramas of the surrounding areas, including the area known as "Lajares". The volcano is in an isolated part of the municipality of La Oliva, and the silhouette of the volcano sits on the horizon. It’s situated along several other volcanic cones which together make up what is known as the Bayuyo alignment. These volcanoes emerged simultaneously around 50,000 years ago.

Because it can be reached by a large number of different paths and a moderate incline, access to Calderón Hondo is straightforward, with the ascent one of the easiest on the island. Additionally, its location between the towns of Lajares and Corralejo means that visitors can take in other major sightseeing attractions in the north of the island.  

Museo de las Salinas del Carmen is a unique experience where you can find out all the secrets of salt extraction in the Canary Islands. You will also be able to visit some centenary salines whose salicals use the same craft techniques as hundreds of years ago to get salt. The Salinas del Carmen are the only 100% sustainable salines in Spain, which helps to make its properties one of the best salts in the world.

You can acquire a multiple entry ticket and visit the Museum of the Salinas del Carmen, the Museum of Majorer Cheese and the Mills Interpretation Centre to find out about the Majorer cheese and the importance of the Wind Mills on the island. You can visit each center on different days.

Corralejo Natural Park is a great place to witness the desert beauty and stunning landscape of Fuerteventura. This coastal zone measures 2.5 by 10.5 km and is located in the north-east of the island. It has two contrasting sides split between the FV-1. In the north, next to the resort of Corralejo, is the largest area of sand dunes in the Canary Islands; a vast area of white sands complemented by the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Conversely the south, has a rugged volcanic landscape of red and ochre. Simply stunning!
